The Stories Behind the Books
I didn't learn life from books. I lived life, and then I wrote the books. What began as a desire to make my mother proud became something to leave for my children and generations to come.

The life and experiences of Michael Martin Hughes
I’ve never been a “good enough” kind of guy. If I’m going to do something, I want to get it done right and find a way to do it better.
I’ve always had a fascination with firsts. There’s something about accomplishing what nobody has ever done before that challenges me to look beyond what’s already been accomplished.
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t climbing the mountain. It’s finding a mountain nobody has ever climbed.
I've spent my life chasing opportunities, taking chances, making mistakes, and discovering that some of life's greatest lessons come from the roads you never planned to travel.
Some of those roads led to success. Others took me places I never imagined I'd go.
But through it all, I've come to believe one thing:
“The only thing standing between your dreams and reality is YOU.”
I've lived a life I couldn't have made up. Now comes the challenge of putting it into words.
